Paros island’s length from north to south is 13 miles, its width across the center is 10 miles, and its total land surface area is 165 sq.<\/strong> km<\/strong>. There is a circular road that goes around the island and also a road that connects Parikia, the island’s port on the west side to the village of Marpissa on the east side by cutting accross the middle of the island and clijmbing up to the mountain villages of Paros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While it is more convenient to hire a car to discover the island in your own time and convenince, it is not impossible to use the bus network that has largly imporoved lately both considering the frequency and the reliability of the buses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the bus network connecting the largest villages of Paros, there is also a city bus in Parikia, and you can hop on and off making it easier to visit this charming and lively town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
